THERE IS NO GOD BUT THEE
Ahmed C. Brann (1907)
"God! - there is no God but He; the Living, the Self-subsisting." - The Throne.

1.
There is no God but Thee;
	No partner shares Thy throne;
Through all, unending times and space,
	Thy Glory reigns alone.
Source of all life that dwells
	In air, or land, or sea:
There is no dead or quickened thing
	But cometh, Lord, from Thee.

2.
There is no God but Thee;
	Great Ruler of the Spheres,
Thy Power created all, and still,
	Sustains them through the years:
Thy Law shall rule for aye,
	Thy Justice still decree,
Thy Bounty cherish all and bring
	All bound in love to Thee.

3.
O Great, Eternal King,
	O Lord of Might and Grace!
Grant that Thy servants yet may find,
	With Thee, abiding place.
And hasten, Lord, the time
	When mortal things shall flee,
And never-ending choirs shall sing:
	"There is no God but Thee!"
